Product Label Information

Here at Sherwood Shelving, we like to keep things organized. All of our wood products have a label with the essential product label information that helps to identify product type, size, room, and even where that product needs to be installed according to your design. Each of these labels are 4″ wide x 5/8″ long and because there isn’t a lot of real estate on the label it is important to follow some rules.

When you create a design in ClosetPro each Design Name becomes the individual room number. These different designs – or “rooms” – are then combined into a Customer Proposal that completes the entire job. KCD Software users can add “rooms” within the job. Whether you are using ClosetPro or KCD Software, we ask that all room labels use the format “Rm1, Rm2, Rm3, etc., and then include any other information you want. On the label you will only see the first 5 characters of the room name so starting with “Rm1 Sally’s Closet,” the label will only show “Rm1 S”. By following this rule it will help the Sherwood Shelving staff and also your installers to see exactly where that piece or components is to be installed (i.e. Rm1).
